Support and account deletion

Get help
For account, billing, connected-bank, receipt, or forecast questions, email [email protected] from the address on your CashShield account. Include a description and the approximate time of the problem. Never send a password, SMS code, full account number, or full payment-card number.
Connected accounts
Open Plaid Connect in CashShield to disconnect an institution. You can keep previously imported history or remove imported records during disconnection. Disconnecting stops future synchronization; it does not close your bank account.
Subscription help
The household owner can open Profile & security → Manage subscription to update the payment method or cancel Premium. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
Request account deletion
Deletion is permanent after completion. Export or record anything you need first. If you are a household member, deleting your account does not automatically delete records shared with a household. If you are the only household owner, the household’s records and connections may also need to be deleted.
- Email [email protected] from your verified CashShield email address with the subject “CashShield account deletion request.”
- We will verify the request using the signed-in account and existing security methods. Email access by itself will not replace or bypass your enrolled phone verification.
- We will explain whether the request affects only your membership or an entire household, including connected institutions, receipts, transactions, and subscription status.
- After verification, we will process the request and confirm completion, subject to limited legal, fraud-prevention, billing, security, dispute, and backup retention.
Do not send identity documents unless CashShield support specifically requests an approved verification method. A deletion request does not require you to disclose bank credentials.
